Peking University, Apr. 30, 2013: Administrators of the University of Adelaide visited Peking University Health Science Center (PUHSC) on April 11 to strengthen the bilateral cooperation.

Ke Yang, executive vice president of Peking University (PKU) and executive vice president of PUHSC, introduced the ongoing education reform of PUHSC to the guests – Vice-Chancellor & President Warren Bebbington, and Pro Vice-Chancellor (International) Kent Anderson.

PUHSC's existing cooperation projects with the University of Adelaide include the JBI Center for Evidence-Based Nursing and a student exchange program. Besides, jointly with the China Scholarship Council (CSC), the University of Adelaide is offering postgraduate research scholarships to Chinese students, which are popular among PUHSC graduates.

President Bebbington and Professor Anderson were also shown around Peking University Third Hospital by Qiao Jie, head of the hospital.

The University of Adelaide (colloquially Adelaide University, or Adelaide U.) is a public university in Adelaide, South Australia. Established in 1874, it is the third oldest university in Australia. It is associated with five Nobel laureates, 104 Rhodes scholars and is a member of the Group of Eight, as well as the sandstone universities.
