Peking University, Mar. 31, 2013: It was worth – far more than every penni – for Finland to fund educational and technological innovations, according to its former prime minister at PKU.
"Such multi-level investments, initiated from the firm-governmental cooperation, could be a boon to the country's global competitiveness," said Esko Aho on March 22, addressing the audience from PKU School of Government.

Technology, out of all aspects, was highlighted by the current Nokia Leadership Team member. With the historic "revolution" of the mobile giant, he illustrated how technicalization could balloon a country's economy.
Previously at the meeting between Aho and PKU Council Chairman Zhu Shanlu, Nokia was suggested to join hands with the university, mainly on innovation research.
