PKU Career Day to kick off on April 21

Peking University, April 17, 2019: Abundant internships, interactions with HRs, and outstanding alumni talks are right here!
This is PKU Career Day, the largest annual career activity which is held by PKU Student Career Center and employers from all walks of life. With 5Cs, i.e. Communication, Connection, Cooperation, Creation and Companion, the activity aims to help all PKUers secure an ideal job.
This will be the third time of PKU Career Day. On April 21, representatives of excellent government-selected graduates, HRs from major enterprises, tutors of PKU’s “heart & hand” program and career counselors will all be there offering you individual career advice.

＊Career Planning Courses
The school's elective course Career Planning for College Students is based on the classic career planning theory and technology, combined with the needs and characteristics of career life requirements necessary for students in Peking University. The course is divided into career planning, industry exploration, international organization career development, departmental classes and other different classes which are offered to help you understand yourself, understand the workplace, define your direction, and make plans. MOOC's Enhancing Your Career Competencies is the first vocational guidance course for bilingual students in China and is attended by learners from more than 120 countries and regions around the world. Based on the results of the employer survey, this course presents eight core professional qualities that affect job search and career development, which will surely enhance your soft power in your career development.
＊“Heart & Hand” Career Development Tutor Program
HRs from Fortune 500 companies and outstanding alumni are invited to tutor you in career planning for a whole semester.
＊Lectures on “Talk about the industry”
HRs, alumni and experts from top firms in industries are invited to share their thoughts and experience through lectures applied to students of all majors.
＊Workshops with various themes
Thematic workshops will cover dress code, innovative thinking, CV polishing, mock interview, to name but a few. You will have multiple and interactive communication here. Feel free to join any sessions you like.

＊Free Career Assessment
With an established career assessment system developed by professional agency, we will analyze your career plans and produce a career development report for you.
