Peking University holds a job fair

Peking University, March 26, 2019: A job fair for graduates was held at Khoo Teck Puat Stadium on March 23. The event attracted 400 enterprises and over 5, 000 PKU graduates.

Qiu encouraged students to fully believe in their ability and advantages in job-hunting, and to combine their individual growth with the development of the nation.
The fair offered updated job information and opportunities, career coaching services as well as online resume applying so as to help the graduates grasp every chance as soon as possible.
At the job fair
The fair and relevant activities aimed to meet the demands of and integrate the resources of different parties, including the universities, the graduates, and the employers. So far, the activities and workshops have offered over 5,000 graduates great help in seeking jobs.
Peking University proposed the “Three-color Strategy” in 2018, which catered for growing backgrounds and special needs of the young students, and thus appealing them to take both social and personal interests into account in job choices.
Over 90 percent of PKU graduates in 2018 have been employed in China’s key regions and crucial departments. According to “the Global University Employability Ranking 2018” published by the Times Higher Education, Peking University ranked the 19th and has long topped the list on the Chinese Mainland for many years.
