Peking University, Nov. 16, 2018: Taking a step forward on the road to internationalization, Peking University established the Internal Controls Office this year in September.
As a leading institution with an international and comprehensive organizational system, Peking University is dedicated to improving its operational effectiveness and efficiency. To that end, the new office will help achieve greater efficiency of operations, more reliable financial reporting, and better compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
On November 15, PKU’s Internal Controls Office held a meeting to further discuss potential optimizations to achieve organizational goals, carry out management directives, increase reliability of information, safeguard assets, comply with rules and regulations, and promote effectiveness and efficiency.
