Peking University, March 9, 2021: Peking University has been awarded 103 Outstanding Achievement Awards (Humanities and Social Sciences) by China’s Ministry of Education.

Specifically, PKU clinched 19 first prizes, 53 second prizes, 13 third prizes, 2 achievement popularization awards, and 16 youth achievement awards. The total number of awards that PKU had obtained, along with the number of first prizes, second prizes, and youth awards, ranked first among all Chinese mainland universities.

The Outstanding Achievement Awards (Humanities and Social Science) are presented once every three years. Since the awards were first established in 1995, they have always been the most credible and influential in the field of humanities and social sciences in China.
