The first "Beida Weixin Cup" PKU alumni tennis match held at Peking University

Peking University, Oct. 14, 2019: On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the first "Beida Weixin Cup" PKU alumni tennis match, was held at Peking University on October 6, 2019.
More than 130 Peking University alumni from all over the world came back to school for this competition. The contestants included fresh graduates, elites from all walks of life and ordinary workers sticking to grassroots works for decades. Today, they all gathered in the arena as alumni of Peking University and recalled the good old days on campus.

Vice Chair of Peking University Council An Yufeng welcomed all the alumni, extending his appreciation to the organizers and staff for their efforts, and wishing the competition a complete success. He also stressed that the development of Peking University could not be achieved without the support of alumni, and Peking University will always be looking forward to their coming back.
In the team competition, the Peking University faculty team won the championship; the Beida Weixin team was the runner-up; the Beida National School of Development EMBA team won the third place.
