Peking University holds Mid-Autumn Festival gala for students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan

Peking University, Sept. 16, 2019: On the night of September 13, the Mid-Autumn Festival gala was held for Peking University students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
Peking University Vice President Tian Gang delivered an opening remark and extended his sincere festival greetings. Tian also encouraged students to have high ideals, to study diligently, and to think independently.

Students from different regions shared their feelings as newcomers, saying they were slightly homesick yet expectant of a new stage of life. While enjoying delicious mooncakes and delicacies, the students also gave different performances, such as reciting poems and singing Cantonese songs.
