Peking University observes “5•21 Mental Health Day”

Peking University, May 23, 2019: With the theme of “Telling your story—Five languages of love”, Peking University organized a series of shows featuring on the mental health of students. The event was held on May 21, a day also dubbed as the “5•21 Mental Health Day”. Over 200 teachers and students took part in the event.
At the event
The event started with a short opera telling a story of a lovesick student who overcame the sadness by dialing the psychological help hotline. In response, teachers from OMES recommended students in need to seek professional help through this hotline. A variety of dances and songs were also put on stage by students.
The ceremony culminated in the song “We are the world” and “Love for the Yanyuan Garden”, encouraging students to learn, to feel and to show their love at different levels.
