Peking University, December 15th, 2018: Peking University has recently opened all the classrooms and extended their opening hour to help students better prepare for final exams.

At the end of November 2018, the refurbished Geoscience Building was open to PKU faculty members and students. Moreover, all public classrooms are currently available for self-study, on service from 7:00 to 22:30 (23:00 during examinations, 24:00 for the Wen-shi Classroom Building and the Geoscience Building.) The availability of these facilities can be easily found through PKU portal and WeChat.

PKU has always attached great importance to the use and management of classrooms and other public space. In 2017, Peking University renovated the Geoscience Building, which later became the best-equipped teaching building in PKU. In May 2018, the public space of the Science Building was renovated. In addition to increasing seats, PKU set up several cozy and independent space for mini-seminars.

In order to do better in classroom management services and make better use of the limited resources, “Peking University Public Teaching Resource Management Center” was established to coordinate the construction and maintenance of PKU public teaching resources.
