Peking University, Beijing, March 17, 2009: Nearly 80% of PKU’s HSBC School of Business graduates in 2009, although under the international financial crisis, have already signed employment contracts from well-known large companies, such as HSBC, Citibank, Standard Chartered Bank, Procter & Gamble, China Jianyin Investment Securities, the South Fund, Shenyin Wanguo Securities and CITIC Securities, and government departments such as the China Banking Regulatory Commission and Securities Regulatory Commission.

Graduate students majoring in the "Peking University Economics - University of Hong Kong Finance" program and the business management program of PKU’s HSBC School of Business graduated in 2009. The high success rate of employment for the graduates benefits from the first-class international training modes and advanced employment guidance from the five-year-old college.

All the dual master-degree students of the college since 2005, went to the University of Hong Kong to attend professional career development courses, which allow them to take the lead in accepting the world-class university career planning guidance. HSBC Business School set up a student career development center managed by full-time teachers in July, 2008. Simultaneously, Hai Wen Career Development Fund was established by Hai Wen, deputy principals and alumni to help the students solve career development problems and provide them with the necessary guidance and funding.
