Peking University, Beijing, Mar. 28th, 2009: The 2nd "societies garden party" warm-up activity planned by Student Activity Center opened its curtain in the PKU hall square at 9:00 am on March 22nd. A decorated wall was set up with posters on it telling the 105-year-long history of students' societies and how the management system work. Logos of nearly 100 students' societies sparked on the wall, intimating the glory of a total of 272 students' societies of 8 categories.

19 students' societies carried out vivid shows at the scene to advertise for the upcoming " Student Societies Public Show". Loveheart Club performed sign language song. Mountaineering Club showed climbing skill while student League of Red Cross Societies practiced first-aid on a dummy.

Cosplay was given by Yuan Huo society and Chinese Martial Arts by Jing Wu society. Kong Ming lantern was released by Long Zhong society. Clothing and Cultural Exchange Association and the Flute & Xiao society gave a Cloth & Music show jointly.

Societies introduced a lot of interactions at the scene. And through personal involvement, students felt the charm of association activities. Clothing and Cultural Exchange Association gave people the chance to try ancient ceremonial costumes on, China and South Korea Exchange Association distributed special food, Cycling Association, the Taiwan Research Association, the Football Association have organized fun quiz games and so on.

At the same time, representatives of Communist Youth League secretary from more than 200 universities around China take part in the activity and spoke highly of it.
