Peking University (PKU) turned into a little piece of Denmark on the 23rd of October, 2012, when the Sino-Danish Network opened the doors to the second and largest Danish career and education fair, Denmark Day. Seven Danish universities and nine of Denmark’s largest companies in China participated in the fair. Here they showcased career and education opportunities to Chinese students in order to open up opportunities to establish close contact between students, companies and universities.
Learn new skills in Denmark
Along with Danish food, beverages and images of Denmark, the fair gave the Chinese students a little taste of Denmark. At PKU it was the Danish ambassador, Mr. Friis Arne Petersen, who opened the event.
"By studying in Denmark you acquire new skills and qualifications that are of great value, when starting your career. You improve your employability that is your chance of getting the job of your dreams. In other words, Danish university education is a good investment for your future. Dear students, the Danish companies and universities are here for you, to provide you with more knowledge and information and to answer your questions," said the Ambassador.
