Opening Ceremony Undampened by Rain

On the morning of September 8, 2023, Peking University held an opening ceremony at the Wu-si Sports Center to welcome a new cohort of students and launch the 2023-24 academic year.
An unexpected rain began to drizzle ahead of the ceremony but didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of the attendees, who were “armed with” bright hues of umbrellas and raincoats, all ears to the words of wisdom and encouragement offered by University leaders, professors, and student representatives.
