Sino-Portugal Medical Exchanges held in Peking University People's Hospital

Peking University, June 1, 2017: On May 19, 2017, "Seminar on the Quality of Medical Services and Medical Innovation ---Sino-Portugal Medical Exchanges ", sponsored by College of Health Sciences of Macao University of Science and Technology and hosted by Peking University People's Hospital, was held in Peking University People's Hospital. This meeting further strengthened the exchanges and cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking countries in the field of medicine and health.


After the seminar on the first theme, a signing ceremony was held for the cooperation memorandum between Peking University People's Hospital and College of Health Sciences of Macao University of Science and Technology. Earlier, based on multiple friendly exchanges and communication, the two sides have intended to reach an agreement concerning such aspects as personnel training and joint curriculum development. They will be devoted to medical education with rich characteristics and will jointly develop high-level training programs and create new forms, new technology and new curriculum.


Later, the guests also took an inspection and experience tour around Peking University People's Hospital.


Valle, Philippines Vice Minister of Health, said that he hoped to promote all-round cooperation in health between China and the Portuguese-speaking countries and the Philippines, strengthening personnel training and exploring new medical cooperation models. "Seminar on the Quality of Medical Services and Medical Innovation ---Sino-Portugal Medical Exchanges" has successfully concluded, but enhancing the health information communication and the exchange of experience between China and the Portuguese-speaking countries and promoting new ways of cooperation and development are still on the road.
