Delegation from University of Michigan visits PKU People's Hospital

Peking University, Mar.20, 2011: Dr. Rich Rogel and Dr. Brodie Remington from the University of Michigan paid a visit to PKU Health Science Center and Peking University People’s Hospital upon invitation on Mar 7. Faculties from the Office of International Relations of PKU Health Science Center accompanied them during their visit.

 

Wei Lai, Vice-president of Peking University People’s Hospital, and Xu Kexin, Director of Office of International Relations, accompanied the delegation to the Hepatology Institute, PKU. Wei gave introduction of the Institute on various aspects including basic information, advantages of the Institute and the research prospect. He also showed to them the laboratories, some experimental facilities, the user-friendly serving facilities in the out-patient hall such as the automatic registration machine, the automatic printing machine for laboratory reports, and the feedback screen. The group also visited the Department of Voluntary Community Service and the Administrative Center of Health and Medical Services. Dr. Rogel posed some questions and discussed with Vice-president Wei the service conditions of some relevant machines.

 

 

 

 

 

After Xu Kexin introduced the history of the hospital in detail in the hall of the Museum of PKU People’s Hospital History, Wei Lai presented the visiting delegation some gifts in the Fifth Conference Room of the Administration Building. Dr. Rogel thanked PKU People’s Hospital for the warm welcome his group had received. He said that he was deeply impressed by the advanced medical environment and the harmonious atmosphere of the hospital, and the vigor of the hospital staff.
