When talking about the language problems in Sino-France exchange programs, Prof. Li said that while the university recommended Science Po to develop the English programs, it also encouraged Chinese students to learn French well. "Language is the basis to understand a culture and only by learning French well can students get close to French culture, thus gain a better knowledge of it."
