Peking University, Mar. 28, 2013: Professor Chang Zengyi, deputy dean of School of Life Sciences of Peking University and director of PKU Center for Protein Science, was invited to be the executive editor of Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communication (BBRC), an international academic journal in the field of biochemistry and biophysics, for the following three years (from Apr. 1, 2013 to Mar. 30, 2016).

Founded in 1959, BBRC is known for its proficiency, publishing 52 issues per year. Whether a paper is accepted or not is directly decided by the board of executive editors, Professor Chang included. Other executive editors are from the US, Germany, France, Japan, Sweden, Canada, Singapore, Korea, Italy, Chile, etc.

The journal almost covers every field of biological research, such as Biochemistry Cell Biology, Developmental Biology, Immunology, Neurobiology, Biophysics, Molecular Biology and Plant Biology.
