Peking University, Jun 1, 2014: In the 5th“Blue Bridge Cup”National Professional Talents of Software and Information Technology Contest, representatives from School of Electronics Engineering and Computer Science (EEC) of Peking University won the award in undergraduate group A of C/C++ program design.

Li Chao, an undergraduate from Class 2012 of EECS of Peking University, won the only special prize set up by the undergraduate group A of C/C++ program design and presented excellent programming and computing capability. In the final contest, Zeng Xinlu and Wu Zhengkai, both undergraduates of Class 2012 students, won the first prize. Luo Xiangyu, a sophomore, and Zhu Jin and Wu Junlin, freshmen, won the second prize. Zhou Xiaohui and Wang Ran, juniors from Class 2011, together with Zhu Rui, a sophomore from  Class 2012, won the third prize. As the organizer, Peking University won the honorary titles of Winner University and Excellent Organization Unit in the area of software.

More than 25,000 students from 1200 universities of 31 regions all over the country participated the 5th “Blue Bridge Cup” National Professional Talents of Software and Information Technology Contest on May 23rd and 24th of 2014, 3,000 competitors from over 800 universities took part in the individual final held in Peking University, University Of Science and Technology Beijing and North China University of Technology.
