President of Law's Charitable Foundation visited PKU

Peking University, April 12, 2012: In this beautiful April, president of Law's Charitable Foundation Luo Jiasui visited Peking University (PKU) to communicate with the students who have won Luo Dingbang scholarship. On April 6, communication party was held in Peking University Chaitai International Center. President Luo Jiasui, executive member Xi Quanfeng, PKU vice president Zhang Yan and other leaders also attended.

Zhang Yan showed his warm welcome to President Luo Jiasui and her companies. He stated that Law’s Charitable Foundation intercommunions have become a long-lasting project in PKU campus cultural construction; it has attracted more participants and has deeper influence. He expressed his deep appreciation of Law’s Charitable Foundation for supporting PKU education and wished that the foundation would achieve further development in the future. He also encouraged the students to study harder and exercise more.

President Luo Jiasui thanked for the hospitality of PKU; she stated Law’s Foundation hope to contribute their efforts to educational development and talents training. She also expressed her sincere concern and high expectation for the students. She encouraged them to be grateful, enhance the sense of responsibility and benefit country and society.

 

Liu Lianghui, undergraduate student from Philosophy Department gave his annual summary speech. He introduced his last year’s work and envisioned his arrangements for the future year. Peng Yilai and Huang Rong from School of Physics talked about their own study and life in college. The students’ elaborate performance culminated the party. In warm and cheerful atmospheres the party ended.

 

In the following two days, the visitors from the foundation will have a meeting with the scholarship students, with the theme of "A Different Weekend" to enter deeper communication and interactions.
