PKU and UT Austin host a seminar on physics

Peking University, June 3, 2013: Peking University (PKU) and the University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin) hosted a seminar on physics from May 20 to May 24, 2013. According to the exchange agreement signed by PKU and UT Austin, the seminar was for the scholars and students from both sides to seek common ground and to further communication and cooperation among research groups.


Prior to the seminar, Professor Wu Biao, director of International Center for Quantum Materials (ICQM) at PKU School of Physics, had introduced the discipline construction, academic training, research personnel, as well as teaching and scientific research in ICQM.


The delegation from UT Austin also visited Tsinghua University, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing Normal University, and China University of Science and Technology.


The seminar was co-hosted by the 2011 Collaborative Innovation Center and ICQM.
