Prof. Wang Sheng elected Fellow of the Collegium Ramazzini

Peking University, Oct. 25, 2012: Professor Wang Sheng from the Department of School of Public Health at PKU was elected Fellow of the Collegium Ramazzini in 2012.

 

Background Info:

 

The Collegium Ramazzini is an international scientific organization established in 1982, which is named after Bernardino Ramazzini, the “Father of Occupational Medicine” living in the 16th and 17th Centuries.

 

The organization is made up of no more than 180 scientists in occupational and environmental health. At present, it has 120 members from 40 countries.

 

The organization devotes itself to key problems about disease prevention and health promotion in occupational and environmental medicine. It aims to promote the development of occupational and environmental hygiene, further improving public health level by applying new technologies and scientific discoveries.
