Chinese Leaders Forum 2012 held at PKU

Peking University, Oct. 25, 2012: Chinese Leaders Forum 2012 was held at Peking University (PKU) from October 21 to 22, which was aimed to explore ways of developing leaders and enhancing leadership.

 

 

The forum, with the theme of "Innovation, Prospective, Breakthrough", was jointly promoted by the Center for Human Resource Development and Management Research of PKU, China Talent Research and other institutions. It attracted some 200 attendees, including experts and scholars from the United States, the United Kingdom, Chinese Mainland and some other regions.

 

The forum held several discussions around the topics of finding leaders, evaluations of leaders and so forth. It made new progresses in the cutting-edge areas of "how to develop leaders via relevant evaluations", "how to enhance leadership through moral measurements", and "how to promote leaders’ developments from the relationship between morality and leadership", which pushed the research on leadership to a higher level with social practices.

 

PKU Administrators and outside guests presented congratulation speeches at the opening ceremony on October 21. They all emphasized the importance of leaders and leadership toward China's future development.
