Peking University, Dec.17, 2012: 2012 Long Distance Race for Capital College Students was held at Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, aiming at promoting intercollegiate communication. Altogether more than 200 athletes from over 30 colleges in Beijing participated in this event. All participants were divided into 4 groups.

PKU sent 10 student athletes and 1 student to this event. Through their joint efforts, PKU won 1 runner-up respectively in men’s and women’s team events. Cao Xiaoping from School of Law won the first prize while Guo Xianglong from School of Journalism and Communication got the fifth.
