Peking University June 22, 2017: On June 16, PKU Council Chairman Hao Ping met with Robin Li, PKU distinguished alumnus, co-founder and CEO of Baidu.inc, Wang Lu, vice president of Baidu.inc, Deng Ya, secretary of PKU of Education Foundation, Jiang Langlang, director of Publicity Department, Lu Shaoyang, dean of School of Journalism and Communication. Zhang Xiangying, deputy director of the Office of Alumni, kept the company.

First of all, Hao Ping briefly introduced the educational improvements PKU had made in teaching, scientific research, talent-nurturing and in international communication and cooperation. Hao also shared with Robin Li the strategic plan and the 120^th Anniversary Celebration Launching Ceremony of Peking University. He pointed out that PKU should develop links with the alumni.
 
Robin Li, as a distinguished alumnus of Peking University, expressed his wishes to work with his alma mater towards future goodness. He would like to make contribution to talent-nurturing in emerging new media communication and artificial intelligence.
