Peking University, April 7, 2017: On 2017 March 21, APR (Asia/Pacific Region) Council of IADR was held in San Francisco. Dean of School of Stomatology, Guo Chuanbin was elected as APR president of IADR from 2017-2018.

IADR (International Association for Dental Research) is an international professional association in stomatology. Its objective is to accelerate researches in stomatology and relevant scientific fields, refine the prevention and cure methods, and improve people’s dental health through research. Annual meeting of IADR as a top event in stomatology functions as a platform for global researchers to showcase and exchange their academic research results.
The main tasks of APR president include transmitting and extendingthe various activities held by IADR general headquarter, enhancing the communication between the APR branches (sections),and strengthening ties with other regions, and thus further promote the stomatology research level.
