Peking University, March 30, 2016: From March 25 to 28, the chairperson of Law's Charitable Foundation in Hong Kong, Luo Jiasui, with other 10 members paid a visit to Peking University. They met 219 students and alumni who received the LuoDingbang Endeavour Scholarship in Peking University and were welcomed by President Lin Jianhua in the office building on Saturday morning of March 26.
Lin appreciated the Law's for their 10-yearfinancial aid to the poor students and welcomed their annually regular visits. Lin pointed out that the significant role that education bears in the poverty-alleviation campaign played a crucial part in cutting off the intergenerational transmission of poverty, which was also at the center of attention for the Party and the Government.
With the aid of Law's Charitable Foundation, Peking University carried forward its characteristic and sustainable "Green Cultivation Project", which emphasized more on broadening horizon, improving academic capability and developing abilities of students. It was expected that Law's Charitable Foundation would keep supporting and aiding Peking University in talent-cultivation.

Chairperson Luo thanked Lin for his warm reception and expressed her resolution of giving financial aids to students and agreed with Lin's plan of pushing the aiding activity to a new level. During the 4-dayvisit, Law's Charitable Foundation held several group talks through the theme activity called "Different Weekend" to see the living standard of students and listened to their stories.
A dinner party was given jointly by PKU Office of Financial Aid, Education Foundation, and Law's Charitable Foundation on March 25 evening. At the party, Prof. Lin Mengqiu, director of Law's Charitable Foundation, addressed an opening speech. Deng Ya, President assistant, general secretary of Education Foundation expressed her appreciation to Law's Charitable Foundation. Yang Aimin, director of PKU Office of Financial Aid reported the implementation of the scholarship and the exchange projects. At last, student representatives closed the party by reporting their work and staging well-organized performance.
