GSM-based journal ranks towards int'l front

Peking University, Sept. 20, 2014: Management and Organization Review ( MOR ), which has long been supported by Peking University’s Guanghua School of Management (GSM), ranks 14th among 172 management journals on the Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI).

With the impact factor of 3.277, it attracts readers from more than 3000 institutions. 

Published by the International Association for Chinese Management Research (IACMR), MOR was established in 2005 by the Association’s founding president Anne Shuk-Ying Tsui, a specially-appointed professor of GSM. Devoted to the progress of global knowledge in organization and management, the journal has also inspired China’s related research.

MOR was selected into the SSCI list in 2010. Its original impact factor was 2.806.

GSM faculties have contributed much to the development of MOR . Professor Zhang Zhixue now serves as senior editor, Professor Zhang Weiying as advisor. Professor Wang Hui, Lu Jiangyong, Zhang Jianjun and Li Bobai are in the Editorial Review Board.

In Business Leadership in the Chinese Context , the latest issue of MOR , Professor Zhang Zhixue and three others posted the introduction article. It was followed by four research reports discussing the trends, characteristics and significance of ”China’s business leadership.”
