Peking University, June 16, 2012. The final of the 4th Mandarin Star Contest for International Students was held recently at Beijing Normal University.
With her solid Chinese foundation and outstanding improvisation, Peking University (PKU) student Ting Lee Ling from Malaysia ranked top 3, and gained the title as “Mandarin Star”.

Ranging from Chinese composition, Chinese traditional crafts to keynotes, the contest consisted of 4 stages: audition, preliminaries, the semi-final and the final. From March to June, it attracted 681 international students from 94 countries at 40 universities in Beijing.
