Exhibition of Brazil nature: mystery and destiny

Peking University, Apr. 19, 2014: Co-organized by the Sao Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) and Peking University, Brazil nature: mystery and destiny exhibition opened on April 15th at PKU library.

As one of the activities during FAPESP Week Beijing (4.15-4.18), the exhibition coincided with the 40th anniversary of establishment of Sino-Brazil diplomatic relationship.

In the exhibition, 37 display boards were exhibited to show the natural biodiversity and the beautiful environment of Brazil.

"This exhibition has showed us the Brazilian efforts and hardships among the way to explore and protect the nature for generations," said PKU vice president Li Yansong at the opening ceremony. And he considered it an honor for PKU to undertake this exhibition.

Celso Lafer, President of FAPESP, thought that "it is crucial for China and Brazil to work together to accelerate the development of each other."

Afterwards, all of the guest made a toast to wish a complete success and visited the exhibition.
