All exchange scholars will receive the following benefits:

Free on-campus accommodation in Shao Yuan Building 5, Building 6, or Beizhao. Accommodation will be equipped with color TV set, telephone, Internet access, refrigerator, and air conditioning.

A monthly stipend will be provided to the exchange scholar.

For scholars who will be at PKU for less than a year, stipends will be distributed in cash. Scholars visiting for over 12 months will be given an open account by which they will receive their stipend.

*Exchange scholars should take note that accommodations are only guaranteed for scholars. Should the spouse or significant other of a scholar come to the university, PKU cannot guarantee a double-room, although arrangements can most likely be made for separate room for that person.
